Comprehensive US state privacy laws apply to some of our readers — California’s CCPA/CPRA and equivalents in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and further states. This notice supplements the Privacy Policy for them.

Personal Information Categories

What is covered: identifiers, including IP address and cookie or device IDs; internet activity, meaning your navigation of this site; and, if you gave one, an email address. These reach us from your own browser and from analytics or advertising partners where such partners are active.

Rights and Requests

You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal information, to obtain a portable copy of it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing and of targeted advertising. In states that provide it, you may also appeal a decision to decline a request. We will not discriminate against you for making any of these requests.

Sharing Practices

We do not sell personal information for money. However, where advertising is served, advertising identifiers and cookie data may be shared with advertising partners, and under the CCPA/CPRA and similar laws that sharing can itself qualify as a ‘sale’ or as ‘sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising’. You can opt out of it: see Do Not Sell or Share My Information. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

How Requests Work

Two routes. For an opt-out: turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we honour automatically. For anything else — access, correction, deletion, portability — email hello@prettyroads.com. Verification is by reply to the originating address, responses come within the time state law sets, and an authorised agent may submit on your behalf with written permission.
